NBSCA LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
Issued by Rod MacIntosh VP of Communications

For almost a quarter-century, the New Brunswick Scottish Cultural Association has been the driving force behind the preservation and promotion of the history and traditions of Scottish Culture for the people of New Brunswick. Through public education and celebration, the NBSCA has worked hard to maintain a prominent Scottish presence in our Province.

Today, over 239,000 (1 in every 5) New Brunswickers make claim to their rich Scottish heritage. Many are direct descendants of immigrants that braved the woods of this foreign land so many years ago in search of a better life for they and their children.

As a vehicle to better serve the people of New Brunswick, the NBSCA is proud to announce the completion of their new and improved Association Website. Scheduled for official launch on Saint Andrews Day (November 30th) the improved look and enhanced navigation systems will allow visitors quick access to such links as our Associationís Constitution & By-Laws, how to become a member, subscriptions to the NB Scottish Journal, links to other sites of interest and much, much more!

NBSCA Executive President Daniel Taylor has been a driving force behind the creation and design of this new website and is very excited with its potential as a communication tool for all New Brunswick Scots. "I believe one of our most important roles is to establish links with the different Scottish groups in New Brunswick. To bind more closely together these diverse groups to improve communication and the sharing of information. I hope you will find this site interesting and informative and that it will give you a true picture of the role of the Association in New Brunswick."

Take a "wee moment" and check out all that is offered at the new and improved New Brunswick Scottish Association website: www.nbscots.com
